1.Geometric structure: VSP rings have reasonable geometric symmetry, uniform construction, large open area of ring walls, resembling flower garlands or lanterns. Eight arc rings and four arc rings are arranged alternately in the axial direction, and each arc segment is folded radially into the ring, so that the filling surface is continuous and continuously open, evenly distributed in space.
2.High flux: Compared with traditional Bower rings, VSP rings can increase flux by 15-30%, thanks to their larger open area and reasonable structural design, making gas-liquid flow smoother.
3.Low resistance: The pressure drop of VSP ring is reduced by 20-30% compared to Bauer ring, because its structural design reduces the resistance of gas-liquid flow and improves the efficiency of the packed tower.
4.High mass transfer efficiency: Due to its unique structure and large open area, VSP ring can effectively promote gas-liquid contact and mass transfer process, thereby improving mass transfer efficiency.
5.Heat and corrosion resistance: VSP rings are usually made of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloys, and have excellent heat and corrosion resistance. They can withstand corrosion from various inorganic acids, organic acids, and organic solvents except hydrofluoric acid.
6.Widely used: VSP rings are widely used in packed towers in industries such as petrochemicals, fertilizers, chemicals, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals, etc., especially suitable for vacuum distillation towers, to process materials that are heat sensitive, easily decomposed, prone to polymerization, and prone to carbon deposition.
